Lucky for you (and us!) there are a few apps that can help you find that zen. Here are some of our favorites…

 

Calm

Whether you’re looking for soothing ocean sounds, a guided meditation or for Matthew McConaughey to read you a bedtime story, Calm has it all. The app is designed to help with meditation and sleep with a combination of stories and sounds to help improve mindfulness and lower stress. 

 

Headspace

If you’re just getting into meditation or looking to try something new, Headspace is for you. The app features a daily meditation plus meditation courses and one-off exercises to help you manage stress, anxiety, and productivity.  

 

Tap In

If you’re having trouble finding a few minutes for yourself, Tap In can help. The app features a 10-minute guided meditation everyday (Monday - Friday) at 3PM. Do it from your desk, the coffee shop or while you’re out on a walk. You’ll be surprised how much good those 10 minutes will do you.

 

10% Happier: Meditation

From ABC News anchor Dan Harris, 10% Happier is a great app for meditation beginners or just those looking to sleep better and be happier. There are quick meditations for busy days and a library of 500+ videos and guides on everything from anxiety to parenting.

 

Simply Being

This app is, well, simple. Choose the length of time, whether or not you want a guided session, and even select your background music. Whether you have just five minutes or 25, Simply Being makes it easy to step back and center yourself.
